Large replacement of starting players' Women's soccer Belho reveals lineup for match against Philippines.

The starting lineup for the women's soccer team's match against the Philippines, led by coach Colin Bell (63), has been revealed. Changes were made to the roster for the first game.

Belho will face the Philippines in a friendly match held at Icheon Stadium at 7 p.m. on the 8th. In the first friendly match held at the same venue on the 5th, Korea defeated the Philippines 3-0.

Coach Bell made changes to the starting roster in the second game. Instead of veteran goalkeeper Kim Jeong-mi (Incheon Hyundai Steel), Choi Ye-seul (Gyeongju KHNP) will guard the goal.

Captain Kim Hye-ri (Incheon Hyundai Steel) was in the best 11. Seulgi Jang (Gyeongju KHNP), Hyoju Choo (Incheon Hyundai Steel), Koh Na (Hwacheon KSPO), and Youngju Lee (Madrid CFF) guard the back door for Korea.

‘Jimesh’ Ji So-yeon (Seattle Reign), Lee Geum-min (Brighton & Hove Albion), Jeon Eun-ha (Suwon FC), Choi Yu-ri (Birmingham City), and Kang Chae-rim (Suwon FC) will also be starting players. Casey Eugene Fair (Angel City) starts on the bench.

The Korean women's national team is ranked 20th in the FIFA rankings, 19 places higher than the Philippines, which is ranked 39th. He won all 5 of his head-to-head matches. In the evaluation match held at Icheon Sports Complex three days ago, they won 3-0. In the group stage of the Hangzhou Asian Games, Son Hwa-yeon (Incheon Hyundai Steel) scored a hat trick and won 5-1.

Philippine women's soccer has continued to develop. After advancing to the semifinals of the 2022 Women's Asian Cup, they advanced to the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup and defeated New Zealand.

Belho brought in most of its elite members at this convocation. In the first evaluation match against the Philippines, the starting list was made up of key players, and in the second match, changes were made by using relatively younger players.

Last February, Velho played friendly matches against the Czech Republic and Portugal in a European expedition. They recorded a 2-1 win and a 1-5 loss, respectively, and quickly began preparing for the 2027 Women's World Cup by holding their first domestic evaluation match in April.
