Nexen/Saint Nine's '2nd consecutive loss', Choi Eun-woo

Choi Eun-woo, who reached the top of the KLPGA Tour Nexen and Saint Nine Masters, also significantly raised his world ranking.

Choi Eun-woo ranked 130th in the women's golf world rankings announced on the 23rd (Korean time), up 56 places from last week. With this, Eunwoo Choi recorded her highest personal ranking. Her previous highest ranking was 136th, achieved last year.

Eunwoo Choi succeeded in winning by one stroke by catching a birdie on the 17th hole of her final round at the KLPGA Tour Nexen Saint Nine Masters held on the 21st.

She earned her first win of the season and second win of her career. In particular, Eunwoo Choi became the first player to successfully defend his title in this competition.

Nelly Korda, who has reached the top of the major competitions and won five consecutive competitions this season, has entered the first place monopoly. On the 22nd, Koda won the Chevron Championship, the first major tournament of the season.

Brooke Henderson, who finished the Chevron Championship in a tie for 3rd place, rose from 12th to 5th. Due to Henderson's rise in ranking, Jinyoung Ko and Hyojoo Kim fell one place from last week to 7th and 10th.
